The duties, responsibilities and training requirements of Protection Supervisors explained and delivered in an information packed day including practical risk assessment in the clinical environment. What is a Laser/IPL Protection Supervisor (LPS)? The recently issued MHRA guidance document on the safe use of lasers and IPL systems has clarified the role of the LPS. It defines their duties and responsibilities and if you have recently been appointed as an LPS or are currently acting in that role—this is your must attend course. The LPS is an individual within a clinic, department or healthcare establishment who is responsible for supervising: · The work of persons operating laser & IPL equipment · The laser/IPL equipment · The Local Rules and ensure they are followed on a day-to-day basis. Workshop Dates - 2009 Thurs 3 Sept Course Fee £195 + VAT (£224.25) payable prior to course attendance. Fee includes all materials for the workshop, reference notes, example submissions, Certificate of Attendance, lunch and refreshments. Discount available if booked at same time as Core of Knowledge Course. Pre-requisite: Core of Knowledge or experience in the clinical environment. |
